Usually a site survey is performed to determine whether a new facility will be suitable
for the low vibration requirement. Sometimes, low vibration design of new facilities
entails sensitivity testing on the tools to be installed in the new facility. Finite
element analysis is also performed to characterize the response of the floor design to the
measured disturbances.
